How to use

On dry hair

  1. Apply a small amount to the scalp with your fingertips.
  2. Spread it gradually across the scalp in circular motions.
  3. Add water slowly and keep massaging until a creamy lather forms.
  4. Leave on for a few minutes.
  5. Emulsify with more water and rinse thoroughly.

As a pre-shampoo treatment

I came across this shampoo at Stilo Headspa here in Little Rock, AR. I had bad dandruff for over 10 years... and oily scalp. Doctors didn't help, it was awful. I booked a cleansing treatment and they used this shampoo and what I thought was dandruff was actually horrible buildup. I purchased a bottle right then (March 2025). I am on my third bottle since then and the buildup has stayed gone and my scalp stays fresh and not oily. I workout 4-6 times a week and majorly sweat. This shampoo has made my hair stay fresh between washes. I HIGHLY recommend. Yes, a pre-wash is needed; but you don't need much. Only negative is the products sell out often, so that is difficult... but I'll work harder for a great product that fixed years of embarrassing issues.

What is Agricosmetica®?

Agricosmetica® is how Oway makes cosmetics: actives from biodynamic and certified organic farming, selected with care and processed in a circular system that turns waste into resources, from the field to the bottle.

What is Ortofficina?

Ortofficina is Oway’s farm in the hills of Bologna, farmed with biodynamic methods since the early 2000s. Many of the botanical actives in Oway formulas are grown there and harvested when each plant is at its peak.

What does biodynamic mean?

Biodynamic farming treats the farm as one living system. It builds soil fertility with compost and crop rotation, uses no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, and times sowing and harvest to natural cycles. Oway grows its biodynamic actives at Ortofficina and with a network of biodynamic growers.

Why glass and aluminium?

Glass keeps out light, air and moisture, so a formula keeps its purity, potency and freshness, and nothing leaches into it. Oway replaced plastic with recyclable glass and aluminium for its bottles, jars and tubes, to cut single-use plastic.

Where is Oway made?

In Italy. Oway was founded in Bologna in 1948 and still develops its formulas there, close to its farm, Ortofficina.
