How to use

After cleansing

  1. After smooth'n glow hair bath, gently squeeze excess water from the hair.
  2. Apply a generous amount from mid-lengths to ends.
  3. Work it through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to distribute evenly.
  4. Use slightly more on coarser or more frizz-prone sections.
  5. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

How often: After every wash on medium to coarse hair; once or twice a week on finer hair.

Is it suitable for colored or heat-styled hair?
Yes. Five to ten minutes of contact softens colored or heat-styled lengths in a way a two-minute conditioner can't reach.
How is it different from a conditioner?
It reaches further into the strand. Left on 5 to 10 minutes, coconut oil passes inside the shaft and holds its protein structure together, leaving porous lengths dense, soft and even.
Will it weigh down fine hair?
Not used at the right rhythm. On finer hair, use it once or twice a week; medium to coarse hair can take it after every wash.

About Oway

What is Agricosmetica®?

Agricosmetica® is how Oway makes cosmetics: actives from biodynamic and certified organic farming, selected with care and processed in a circular system that turns waste into resources, from the field to the bottle.

What is Ortofficina?

Ortofficina is Oway’s farm in the hills of Bologna, farmed with biodynamic methods since the early 2000s. Many of the botanical actives in Oway formulas are grown there and harvested when each plant is at its peak.

What does biodynamic mean?

Biodynamic farming treats the farm as one living system. It builds soil fertility with compost and crop rotation, uses no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, and times sowing and harvest to natural cycles. Oway grows its biodynamic actives at Ortofficina and with a network of biodynamic growers.

Why glass and aluminium?

Glass keeps out light, air and moisture, so a formula keeps its purity, potency and freshness, and nothing leaches into it. Oway replaced plastic with recyclable glass and aluminium for its bottles, jars and tubes, to cut single-use plastic.

Where is Oway made?

In Italy. Oway was founded in Bologna in 1948 and still develops its formulas there, close to its farm, Ortofficina.
